Whether you’re seeking out new adventures solo or with a group of family and friends, you’ll be sure to find something that works for you. Read on to learn more and start a new adventure today!

Marietta Cobb Museum of Art

On hot summer days, you should look for activities that help beat the heat, so visiting the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art fits the bill. The museum offers an eclectic mix of exhibitions, classes, and events that everyone in your party can enjoy. During specific times of the year, the museum features work from local artists for visitors to enjoy, so be sure to visit their website to learn more.

Marietta Square Farmers Market

While only open on Saturdays, the Marietta Square Farmers Market is the place to be in the summer, especially if you’re looking for fresh vegetables. The farmer’s market is open year-round, so visitors can stop by any time of the year and select from various options like homemade soaps, local honey, and much more.

Six Flags White Water

If you’re into thrills and action and love getting wet, then the rides at Six Flags White Water should be a weekly destination this summer. Featuring 69 acres of refreshing water-filled activities, visitors can relax in the ocean wave pool or try out the Python Plunge or Dive Bomber, each featuring drops over 50 feet.

Sope Creek Loop

Being outdoors is what makes summer in Marietta so exciting. While we’ve touched on different activities, sometimes getting back to nature is as good as it gets. The Sope Creek Loop is up to three miles long, depending on which trail you take, and wanders along the Chattahoochee River. Hikers can explore Sibley Pond, home to various wildlife, and meander past ruins from an old paper mill destroyed by Union forces during the Civil War.
